This is one of the top rated mexican restaurants in Los Angeles. This is not your average Mexican fare, originates from Oaxaca. Any average assumption you may have of Mexican, this is totally outside the box. I would highly suggest to almost anyone. With friends, family, kid-friendly, drinks, foods on happy hour. The only reasoning for the 4 star is that our particular waiter was not the friendliest but the other staff members were courteous and welcoming.

Mexican food, super yummy. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and observant. This place has a cool feel to it. Menu is like a cafe in Indianapolis I liked.

Add my name to the list of Guelaguetza fanatics. I went with my family once after hearing non-stop raves about this place. Then, I talked it up so much that my bosses got me a gift card as a thank you gift. Both times were wonderful experiences. And let's just be real: it's all about the mole. They know how to make it, and we love it. Both times we have ordered the Festival of Moles and another big platter of meat and vegetables, and they've been great together. Maybe next time we'll order something else to go with our mole, but maybe not. The service is great: friendly, welcoming, and not at all pretentious. The decor is just right. And the Live music is great. Just be warned: this place is busy on Saturday nights. I recommend getting here early to beat the rush.

Great menu options. Service was great. There were multiple birthdays being celebrated and everyone in the restaurant would join in and sing each time any individual table starting singing to their loved one. It was awesome. Very family like.
